Decorative Cacti circa 1972

One of my favourite book shops is Halcyon Books just down the road from us. I love it because each book is  £1 to buy and for an artist it is the best place to pick up really good reference books.
One of my favourite reference books is Decorative Cacti from 1972, Illustrated by Jirina Kaplicka. Not only because I love all cacti, but I rather like how straight forward the layout of the book is: Description on the left page and illustration on the right page. Most of the illustrations also seem to be to scale so a few of the drawing run off the page.
