Out and About

This is an exhibit outside of the National Gallery. It's a translation of Van Gogh's "Cypress Trees". I'm not sure  how accurately it portrays the painting, but regardless of the inspiration, I love the fact that it's a huge abstract wall of foliage. I wonder how it will change with the weather.

Repetition.

Shabby sign, chic address.

Lunch.

He who cannot resist the glowing stripes.

-didn't realize its connection to Van Gogh's art. I'd seen the foliage and thought it was an attempt at giving passersby some lovely oxygen to inhale. Certainly, whatever the reason, it looks pretty bitchin'.
